One of the more recent additions to the phone gadget library is the dop kit, which is a device that allows for sticking your phone to a flat surface – even if it’s not horizontal. It functions almost like a magnet, but is actually suction-based and can be removed and placed on virtually any surface. It allows you to lock in the phone’s placement and then swivel it around as needed. It’s a perfect gift for someone you know likes to watch videos or use their phone in multiple settings.

Holders and Sticks

Down similar lines, there are many reasons people want to be able to hold or otherwise secure their phones. From selfie sticks to desktop holders, tripod holders for video capture and many other options here, there’s a virtually limitless catalog of items you might consider for the phone lover in your life. Just be sure you purchase a holder or stick type that’s meant to fit the device in question – most of these will be universal and allow for multiple devices, but there are some designed for a specific phone model.
